What cookies are
Small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They let a site remember things — what’s in your basket, whether you’re logged in, which storefront you were viewing.
The law
Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, we need your consent before setting any non-essential cookie. Essential cookies don’t need consent because the site cannot function without them.
You’ll see a banner on your first visit. Nothing non-essential is set until you choose.
What we use
Strictly necessary — always on
| Cookie | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Basket and checkout | Remembers what you’ve added |
| Session | Keeps you logged in |
| Storefront preference | Remembers whether you’re viewing For Her or For Him |
| Cookie consent | Remembers your choice so we stop asking |
| Security | Protects against fraudulent form submissions |
| Tracking opt-out | Remembers that you asked us not to record advert-visit statistics. Set only if you use the opt-out link in our Privacy Policy. Lasts 1 year. |
Analytics — only with your consent
Helps us understand which pages are useful and where people get stuck. Nothing in this section is set until you click Accept.
- Google Analytics 4 sets a
_gacookie and a_ga_-prefixed cookie for our analytics property; both expire after 2 years. - Jetpack Stats and WooCommerce Analytics, provided by Automattic, set
tk_-prefixed cookies (tk_ai,tk_lr,tk_or,tk_r3d) to count visits and shop activity. - WooCommerce order attribution sets
sbjs_-prefixed cookies (sbjs_current,sbjs_first,sbjs_session,sbjs_udata,sbjs_migrations,sbjs_current_add,sbjs_first_add) to record how you found the shop, so we can see which channels lead to orders.
Advert-visit statistics — no cookie
When you arrive from one of our adverts we count which steps of the shop you reach (viewed, scrolled, added to basket, started checkout, paid) without setting any cookie for it. You can opt out in our Privacy Policy.
Payment messages — only with your consent
If you accept, doll pages and your basket show “pay in instalments” messages from Klarna (through Stripe) and PayPal. PayPal may set its own cookies to show these.
Marketing — only with your consent
Lets us show relevant advertising elsewhere and measure whether it worked. We do not currently use any advertising or social-media tracking pixels (no Meta/Facebook, Google Ads or TikTok), so no advertising cookies are set.
Changing your mind
Click Cookie settings in the footer at any time. You can also delete cookies through your browser settings, though this may affect how the site works.
Third parties
Some cookies are set by services we use rather than by us — the payment providers at checkout, for example. We don’t control those; their own privacy policies apply.
